Creamy Tomatillo Salsa Dip

  • 8 Tomatillos Sliced
  • 1 1/2 Cups Onion, chopped
  • 1 Clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1 Jalepeno, sliced Remove the seeds if you don't want it spicy
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • Cilantro for Garnish


  1. In a pan add the tomatillos, onion, garlic, jalapeno and olive oil.

  2. Heat on medium for approx 10 minutes. You want the vegetables to be soft. A little browning is ok.

  3. When it's finished turn off the heat and let it cool.

  4. Add the cooked mixture to a blender and add the salt, puree for about 20 seconds.
